some have visibility on all projects, others only on the projects they are assigned to.<\/div><div>You can also define sub-projects of a project and sub-project of sub-projects without limit to this hierarchical organization.<\/div><div>This allows for example to define projects that are not real projects, but just a definition of the structure for your organization.<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div><img decoding=\"async\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.projeqtor.org\/images\/article\/item\/Activity_100.jpg?resize=100%2C100&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" width=\"100\" height=\"100\" \/><\/div><div>An\u00a0<strong>activity<\/strong>\u00a0is a task that must be planned, or includes other activities.<\/div><div>This is usually a task that has a certain duration\u00a0and should be assigned to one or more resources .<\/div><div>Activities appear on the Gantt Planning view.<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div><img decoding=\"async\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.projeqtor.org\/images\/article\/item\/Milestone_100.jpg?resize=100%2C100&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" width=\"100\" height=\"100\" \/><\/div><div>A\u00a0<strong>milestone<\/strong>\u00a0is an event or a key date of the project.<\/div><div>Milestones are commonly used to track delivery dates or force\u00a0a start date of activity.<\/div><div>They can also be used to highlight the transition from one phase to the next one.<\/div><div>Unlike activities, milestones have no duration and no work.<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.projeqtor.org\/images\/article\/item\/Resource_100.jpg?resize=100%2C100&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" width=\"100\" height=\"100\" \/><\/div><div><strong>Resources<\/strong>\u00a0can be assigned to activities.<\/div><div>This means that some work is defined\u00a0on this activity for the resource.<\/div><div>Only the resources affected\u00a0to the project of the activity can be assigned to the activity.<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.projeqtor.org\/images\/article\/item\/Imputation_100.jpg?resize=100%2C100&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" width=\"100\" height=\"100\" \/><\/div><div>Resources enter their time spent on the\u00a0<strong>Real work allocation<\/strong>\u00a0screen .<\/div><div>This allows for a real-time monitoring of work.<\/div><div>Moreover, updating the left\u00a0work allows to recalculate the planning taking into account\u00a0the actual progress on each task.<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.projeqtor.org\/images\/article\/item\/Planning_100.jpg?resize=100%2C100&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" width=\"100\" height=\"100\" \/><\/div><div>The\u00a0<strong>planning\u00a0<\/strong>is based on all the constraints defined:<\/div><div>\u2022 left\u00a0work\u00a0on each activity<\/div><div>\u2022 availability of resources<\/div><div>\u2022 affectation\u00a0rate of resources to projects and assignment rate of resources to activities<\/div><div>\u2022 planning mode for each activity (as soon as possible, fixed duration, &#8230;
